Sea Dreams

Proposed Visual for Sea Dreams, initiated by Global Cultural Alliance, supported by the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore and is an event of the Singapore Maritime Week 2017. Through colourful storytelling, rhythmically engaging music and spirited circus arts, Sea Dreams is a viscerally exciting experience that brings to life the vibrancy of Singapore’s maritime past, present and future and the opportunities the maritime sector holds for young Singaporeans in the face of today’s challenging climate. This production is inspired not only by the aspirations of young people today who seek a career in the maritime industry, but also draws from actual historical events as well as Joseph Conrad’s Lord Jim which in part was inspired by true events related to Singapore.
